Community Guidelines
Drafted 20 Aug 2026. Written to be shown to members, not just kept internally.
The short version
Everyone here is working on the same problem: eating enough, keeping the muscle, and feeling human while the number moves. Talk to people the way you'd want to be talked to on your worst week.
The rules
1. No bullying, and no body comments
No insults, no pile-ons, no sneering at what someone eats, weighs, injects or can't manage today. That includes the polite kind — "have you tried just eating more?" is not help.
Don't comment on anyone's body, size or appearance, including compliments. A board where bodies get appraised is a board where people start performing instead of being honest, and honest is the whole point.
2. Nobody here is your prescriber
Don't tell anyone what dose to take, when to go up, when to come off, or that their side effects are fine. Share what happened to you — never what someone else should do.
Anything about dosing, symptoms that aren't easing, or stopping is a conversation for whoever prescribes for them. Composa is not a medical device and this board is not medical advice.
3. Don't source or sell medication
No offering, requesting, selling or linking to GLP-1s, compounded versions, or "spare" pens. Not in threads, not in replies, not by DM arranged here. This is the one that gets an account removed immediately, with no discussion — it is dangerous and it is illegal.
4. No promoting restriction
No goal weights framed as targets for others, no "I only had 400 calories today" as advice, no tips for eating less. Undereating is the problem this app exists to solve, not a technique to trade.
If you're struggling with food in a way that frightens you, talk to your prescriber or GP.
5. Forward-looking, not before-and-after
No before/after photos, no guilt posts about what you used to eat, no confessionals. GLP-1s remove the craving loop; this isn't a place to relitigate your relationship with food. What's useful here is what you're doing now and what helped.
6. Someone else's story isn't yours to share
Respect member privacy. Do not copy, screenshot, repost or share another member's Community content or personal information without their permission. Don't identify anyone.
Only share information you are comfortable posting to other members. Composa cannot guarantee that content posted by members will remain private or will not be shared outside the Community. We can set this rule and act when someone breaks it, but no app can stop a person copying what is on their own screen — so please don't post sensitive personal, medical, financial or identifying details, about yourself or anyone else.
7. Real experiences only
Don't invent results, don't pass on things you heard third-hand as fact, don't promote products or affiliate links. Composa runs on real data and this board runs on real experience.
What happens when someone breaks them
- Sourcing or selling medication — account removed immediately.
- Bullying, harassment, or targeting a person — the post is removed; repeat means removal.
- Everything else — usually a word, and the post comes down if it needs to.
A person reads this board. Decisions are made by a human moderator, not a filter, and you can ask why.
If something's wrong
There is no report button yet. We would rather say that plainly than point you at a form that does not exist. Moderators do read the board, and a post that breaks these rules is removed when it is seen — but nothing you can press will flag it to us faster today, and an in-app way to report one is still to be built.
If someone is in danger, that is not a board matter, and it should not wait for us. Contact emergency services, or their prescriber if you know who that is.
What is and isn't built
Updated 21 Aug 2026, when moderation shipped. This section is rendered to members along with the rest of this document, so it states the real position rather than the intended one.
Built:
- Moderator powers. A moderator or admin can remove any post or reply from inside the app. Removal hides the post - a reply shows as
[removed by moderator], a thread stops appearing in the feed. Nothing is ever deleted, so anything removed by mistake can be restored exactly. - A reason for every removal, recorded. Hiding a post requires a written reason, and every hide and restore is logged with who did it and when. Decisions can be looked back at.
- These guidelines, in the app. This page is readable by anyone at
/community/guidelines, without an account, and is linked from the Community screen. - Agreement before a first post. The first time you post or reply you're asked to confirm you've read these guidelines. Once only - reading the board never asks you for anything.
Still not built:
- No reporting. If you see something that breaks these rules there is no button to flag it, and no contact route inside the app to send it to either. Moderators remove what they see. This is the honest position rather than the intended one — see "If something's wrong" above.
- No blocking. You can't stop another member replying to you.
