Using Composa
A plain-language summary of how Composa works today. Full terms of service are being finalised; until then, this page describes what you can expect.
Who runs Composa
Composa Health Limited, 77 Camden Street Lower, Dublin 2, D02 XE80, Ireland. Contact: support@composa.health.
Not a medical service
Composa is a consumer tracking app. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose or treat any condition and gives no medical or dosing advice — and neither do coaches. Body-composition figures are estimates from your weight and tape measurements. Talk to your prescriber about your medication, dose and side effects. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
What is free
Tracking, the food diary, the medication log and reminders, composition estimates, progress photos, reading the Community, and downloading or deleting your data.
Paid services
Composa Coaching is a paid service with a real human coach, offered by application. Before you pay, the coach, start date, price and billing are agreed with you. A coach reviews your weekly check-in and replies to messages during working periods — it is not live chat or an emergency service. Composa Plus and personal training are not on sale yet.
Your account and your data
One account per person; keep your password to yourself. Your data is yours: you can download it or delete your account in Settings at any time. How it is handled is on the Privacy page.
Community
Everyone can read the Community. During launch every member can post and reply; afterwards, posting and replies may be included with Composa Plus or Coaching. Follow the Community Guidelines. Posts that break them can be hidden, and you can appeal in the app. You keep ownership of what you post.
Fair use
No unlawful use, harassment, impersonation, scraping, interfering with the service or trying to reach other people’s data. Accounts that do this can be suspended or closed. Food product data comes from Open Food Facts and can be wrong — check the label.
